Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26th, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most popular Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was Like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, such as Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and Who The Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. Each of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the young generation of reggae singers. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first appeared on stage in Miami in the Midem Theatre. Midem. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley found himself in a bidding battle. In 1997 he joined Gee Street/V2 Record.
